Good animating skills yet the story is lacking
First off, I just want to let you know that I don't know what your reasons for making the Tetris'd movies are and I won't try to assume anything at all. With that aside, this is my review.
Foremost, your ability to animate is definitely the highlight of your movies and is surely above the more average submissions that are deposited into Newgrounds. However, I just can't seem to really understand the story you are portraying in this movie.
Why do the "Tetris Gods" take over Earth and use its inhabitants to survive in a crazy life-sized game of Tetris? I think it's perfectly fine to make movies where people just fight big monsters, destroy grand robots, or spar against formidable humans, but now that you've decided to provide a beginning to the Tetris'd universe, you should elaborate even more on what you have provided. Perhaps you could explain the intention for keeping the humans and placing them in a giant Tetris game, why Tetris came to Earth in the first place, or even what happens after Tetris'd 3.
I could say that I understand how much work it takes to put into animating these films, but I have no clue due to my complete lack of experience. Nevertheless, you do have somewhat of an obligation to create another installment of Tetris'd because you have decided to create a story. You are only hurting your fans when you leave your story wide open without a couple of possible endings.
Regardless, Tetris'd Rising is a nice film, but only if you try to ignore the story because of how many holes it produces.
